Online Business Building & Marketing Strategies for WAHM's
How difficult to tie all this in one single post, but I will surely try..
I have been working my big Brazilian but off today. The kids were off to nursery again, Marcus is finally ok and over the Swine Flu, or whatever hit him last week – I am still not completely convinced it was Swine Flu but to be honest I truly hope it was! At least we have all been exposed to it now.
Anyway, even when they were all off at home, full-time with me I could not afford to just do nothing on the online business building side of my ‘Motherly Marketing Empire’. There are just way too many things in motion already, and if I just stopped it would lead me into taking a huge step backwards again. That happened when Felipe was sick on and off for God knows how long, when I got the kidney infection after coming back from Vegas and I know the results of it.
It totally disrupts the whole online viral element of your marketing strategies. I am VERY lucky on the social media side of things because even though when I am not as active as I would like to be, I still get hundreds of followers on twitter and people coming into my ’spider web’ from all the traps I lay over time.
The strategy to follow is once again consistency. Take action on a daily basis for traffic and religiously build up your reputation. I can certainly testify that only following basic Web 2.0 rules have paid out massively to me. My readers and followers are very responsive.
Maybe because the working from home mums niche is a highly sensible one and I am after all the epitome of my own niche. I leave and breathe every single problem you ll do and celebrate the same sort of conquests all mums with small kids do whilst trying to build their online businesses.
Anyway, I have been working into the wee hours since last Tuesday, waking up early with the kids, nurturing Marcus when he needed cuddles even though I was ready to throw my towel throughout the whole week, many times, every day.
However I kept pushing on and on and did what I could.
I have picked up from where I left with Alex Jeffreys’ coaching program on his live session, I’ve mingled with my new fellow students from his 2.0 version of these classes and they are absolutely lovely and generous and very hard working.
I have never experienced such a motivated group, so I am definitely amongst the right kind of crowd to motivate me and keep my chin up, even if I am dying to rest.
I have also picked up few elements that I have been meaning to put into practice from my mentoring with Rich Schefren for ages now and was studying his information overload training until late again yesterday and guess what?
I’ve managed to literally detonate a massive open loop on my online business. I had a horrible inbox of over 10,000 emails sitting there to be sorted and the strategies alone they gave out on his online training course got me to clear my entire email inbox. I will admit, it took me the entire day to do it but it’s been building up for more than 2 years I think. The strategies are stellar and that is a hint as to what my next product will also be about.
But hold on to your Brazilian thongs because I am not letting the cat out of the bag just yet. You will find out later. Just keep coming back for more and I let you in on some more IM advice.
For now I can finish with another accomplishment of mine, which was actually backing up my blog and installing a plugin that will bring hoards of targeted traffic to my blog. It’s called Traffic Getting SEO Plugin Supercharged Professional Edition from a free traffic freak and founder of http://www.undergroundtraininglab.com, Jeff Johnson.
First of all it’s an accomplishment in itself because I’ve done it all by myself and also, I think I actually done it right. LOL. If you had ask me less than a year ago what a plugin was I would think you were asking me to learn yet another language and I would have told you to eat bananas cause I cannot even speak or write English properly, let alone venture out on a different one language..
I have and yes I am learning yet another language and every time I fail I am the first one to raise my hands and say, oops I did it again.
When I get it right though! You will most certainly raise a glass with me.
So that is a wrap. Cheers everyone who supports me in this journey that is building my online business, or as we say in Brazil, Saude!
Lot’s of love,
Sandra

Hey Steve,
Thanks for stopping by, I will hop over to your corner soon. I must admit that I haven’t done any of what I should be doing lately to drive traffic to my sites.
I am however very committed to coming up with my own stuff and it’s been giving me so much pleasure, I couldn’t even beggin to explain.
Good luck on yours mate and remember just make it good cause good is good enough.
Sandra

Sandra,
I think you’ve got a killer niche there. And with that spanky writing style of yours that gives everyone heaps of your Brazilian personality, you’re riding a winning ticket.
Congratulations on taking action. Looking back you now understand just how far you’ve come.
Eager to see yoy go straight to the top,
- Gil

Thanks for so many lovely compliments all wapped in one post. Thanks a lot.
I absolutely love my moms and dads. And I cannot help but resonate with them because we are trully going throught the very same problems and thrills at the end of the day, which cannot hurt to be honest.
I sure see you at the top too my friend,
Sandra

Hi Sandra,
I agree this is a great niche you’re in and other Mum’s will be able to identify with you. Maybe people who are not Mum’s will be able to feel they have an easier time than you so if you can do it so can they?
You have your own unique style that should help you succeed.
Yes, the 2.0 class are all hard working
Thanks
Keith
